  1. I compare myself with the main character Kelley in a lot of ways. For example she lost two of the most important peoplein her life.Theywere with her through everything and when she least expected it they were gone.I also went through the same thing and yes it was very hard for my family and I.It was a hard time but I can realate to it very well.Another thing that I have in common with Kelley the main character is that she is always being pushed around by people think they are helping but in reality they are doing the opposite.I know what it feels like to be pressured to do something and it’s frustrating.

  2. I’ve been reading “The visionist” by Rachel Urquhart and I feel that sister Charity’s personalities are a lot like my. For example, I try so hard to be good and be helpful just like sister Charity tries to do when trying to comfort Polly or other new comers to the city of hope. However, me and sister Charity have characteristics and experiences that we both can’t relate to. For instance sister Charity belongs in a religious shaker community and was brought up by another sister (orphan) meaning that her environment is way different from mine. Even though sister Charity does have a time to interact with other sisters, we both prefer not to socialize, we’re both intrapersonal.

  3. I am reading The Fault In Our Stars by John Green and I would say that I am similar to Hazel in many ways. I, like Hazel have lived in Indiana for a long time and have a book I constantly read at all times. I have also dreamed alot of meeting the author of my book (Diana Lopez) to ask a couple things she didn’t clear out. I am different from Hazel because she has lung cancer, and terminal cancer but I don’t. Therefore the difference here is that I have health and she does not.

  4. I am currently reading Just Another Hero by Sharon M. Draper. A character in the book in which i have similarities and differences with is Jericho. Some of the things Jericho and I have in common is that we both have gone through a lot, yet are optimistic about bad situations, we both have comical personalities, and we both use music as a way to cure anger or sadness, etc. Some differences Jericho and I have is that he isn’t an athlete, he has a foster family, and is very tall. These are a few similarities and differences Jericho and I have.

  5. I currently read “The warrior heir” by Cinda Williams Chima and I’d been thinking about how different and similar me and Linda Downey are. However, aunt Linda might be way older than me, be an enchanter, and have magical powers that I do not possess. I do have characteristics similar to her such as time-efficient, manipulative, compassionate, and competitive. These are just a few attribute examples that I share with Linda but I also do have sisters just like Linda who I care very much for and very protective of. Even though Linda is trustworthy, she can keep a lie for a long time but I’m different I have to tell the truth and nothing but the truth.

  6. My book is Harry Potter Book 1. By J K Rowling and the book I’m comparing it to is The Lightning Theif by Rick Riordan. The characters that I’m comparing are Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. They have both 2 best friends that are close to them in the both series . They both are Fantasy simulated characters. They Both are guys. (I know that was a amazing comparison). In both books they are the center of attention ( Main Characters ) on their adventures . They both have a male guardian that despise the characters. In TLT Percy’s stepfather Gabe doesn’t care for him, in TSS Uncle Vernon doesn’t care about Harry at all compared to how much he tries to please his own son.

  7. I read Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury . The characters I’m comparing are Thomas from The Maze Runner and Clarisse From Farenheit 451. Both book characters live in a dystopian dimension , Straight from the beginning both characters are thinking way differently and do things different from their fellow residents . In the Maze Runner Thomas is always talk about what’s in the Maze and that he wants to go in , unlike anyone else ; In Farenheit 451 Clarisse is questioning Guy Montag because he’s not the type of guy to really think about life.

  8. I finished the book “The series of Unfortunate events”. If I had to compare and contrast, I would choose “Violet”. The similarities between me and Violet is, that we both are creative. We both like making things. The difference between me and Violet is, she does whatever she wants to get what she wants. Me on the other hand, just deals or leaves it alone if there’s a problem unless if its important. That’s the differences and similarities between me and Violet.

  9. The book i I’m currently reading is The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly. I am going to compare and contrast Myself to the character David. Ever since he was very small he would always do every thing the same every morning. He would always put his left foot on the ground first in the morning then the right foot, just to keep is mother alive. His mother was very sick. nobody knew what she had. See thats nothing like i would always pretty much try not to do the same thing every day because lets say i would like to do thing different every day. The thing is he thought that if he did very thing his mother said then she would stay alive longer. On the other hand i would not do that i mean i would my mom stayed alive but i mean thing happen so the only thing that would have really cured her would be a miracle because the stage that she was in she was already becoming pale. The only thing that me and David have in common is we love mystery and comic books.

  13. I currently read “the Boy in the Striped Pajamas”. The character I’m going to compare myself with is the mother of bruno. We have some things in common. For example, She was silently so angry with people around her, she voiced her opinion when somethings was wrong, when something bad was going on no one else seemed to care except for her, she held her opinion, she was optimistic, and she was very cautious with ones she loved. We are different because I am loud when she is frequently quiet, I enjoy sports or active events while she likes to be at home and relax, and I Enjoy keeping to myself while she seeks interaction with her family.

  15. The book I am reading is Between Shades of Gray. The main character in Between Shades of Gray is very similar to the main character in the book I previously read, Life As We Knew It. They both don’t think of the consequences of their actions and are a bit selfish especially in the beginning.
Lina (main character of Between Shades of Gray) doesn’t quite think about consequences. She does/says the first thing that pops in her mind. Sometimes for doing that she involves other people making her a bit selfish. One time she went to draw the commander and stole her families files before leaving the commanders office. She didn’t think about the consequences about how the commander might find out that some files are missing and how he would punish her if he got caught. This makes her selfish because she isn’t thinking that if she gets caught how she will hurt her mother and her brother. They would worry too much and if she got hurt they wouldn’t be able to handle it because she is a reason why their living. After looking at the files she Andrius to take them back. Andrius was a little bit upset since he had a risk of taking it back and getting caught. She is selfish of not thinking of the trouble he could go through.
While in Life As We Knew It Miranda did a different thing. Miranda had snuck into her pantry and began to eat some chocolate chips which she wasn’t supposed to eat because their trying to save the food supply. Miranda got caught (not thinking of the consequences) Miranda’s mom makes her eat the whole bag of chocolate chips and doesn’t get to eat the next day. Eating the chocolates was selfish. Everyone else was hungry too and the hadn’t snuck into the pantry to eat. Those chocolates were also for her brother Matt’s birthday. Now he wasn’t going to have a special meal/dessert for his birthday.

I would compare and contrast the main character, David Ullman in “The Demonologist” with me, Giselle.Although, David Ullman is brave I myself is brave as well. However, I would not go as far as David would to threat a demon myself since the demon could kill my love ones. Then again if I only had one love one which was caught by a demon like what happened with David I would still not threat but find that loved one, as David.

  20. I am reading ‘The Boy In The Striped Pajamas’. Some similarities and differences from the character Bruno and I, is that we both get curious when there are things that we have never seen before. An example is that when he looked out the window and he saw something but not that clear. Also I can make friends easily or talk to people if I want to now a answer to what is happening. When he got close he started to look around and try to get what was happening. A difference between us is, of course I not in the past when WWII happened. Also a difference is that he lives differently and learns of how a bad leader is great (which is not true because he treated people terribly and killed them).

  23. I’m going to compare Teresa from The Maze Runner and Katniss Everdeen from Catching Fire. Some things these two characters have in common is there both about the same age in the books they were part of. The two of them are females. They also are strong independent women that are both major parts of the books they have been part of. Some differences between these two women is well two guys that are Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthorne (which are also two major characters in Catching fire). Peeta and Gale like Katniss. Teresa likes Thomas(Main character of The Maze Runner). So the difference is Katniss has two guys liking her while Teresa has only one guy.
