  1. I currently finished reading “Bunker Hill A city, A siege, A revolution” by Nathaniel Philbrick and the character that I would pretend to be his or her friend is the 50 year old, British general, Thomas Gage. I image that general Gage is frustrated and stress about the harassment from the patriots and the pressure from loyalists and the British army to deliver enough soldiers to fight in Boston, Massachusetts. I would tell him and suggest to Gage to think before you do and be rational when dealing with the concept of a revolution. This advice is important because the British and the colonists are disagreeing in how much power Great Britain could have over the thirteen colonies and if Gage says or does something either the patriots and loyalists don’t like then he could bring a risk of a war between Great Britain and the thirteen colonies.

  2. Some advise i would give to David would be to let it go his mother is gone he can’t do anything about it. His mother was sick and doctors were doing every thing they could. He would do the same routine every day whats the point of life if you can’t do anything new.

  3. I read ‘Panic” by Sharon M. Draper. Some advice i would give to Diamond is to never give up. Although shes being raped day in and day out and shes kidnapped, she has to remember how much people need her and that she holds worth. For example, Shasta her nine year old little sister is drawing on her bedroom walls and isn’t eating because shes mad someone took her sister. Shasta needs guidance and a role model. Diamond surviving the situation will show shasta that not giving up in any situation no matter the difficulty is important.

The advice I would give Lina from Between Shades of Gray is to hope, love, and be responsible. Hope is a really big part of the book. Lina always pushed herself to survive for the hope of finding her father. She believed that if she kept drawing and sending those drawings it would reach her father. The hope of finding her father and getting out all together, kept her going. The other advice I would give her is love those around her who care for her. The love and hope she has for her family and friends doesn’t only make her want to live but it makes the others around her too. For example, she gets feelings for Andrius and Andrius gets feelings for her too so once he finds out Lina is being moved to another place he says he’ll find her, making him want to stay alive to see her again. The last advice I would give her is to be responsible. Her mother and father die so she needs to be responsible of her younger brother. So she really needs to think about what she does and says now that her responsibility is her brother.

  7. I finally completed reading the book, “The story of land and sea” by Kathy Simpson Smith when I recognized that Moll, a slave who had not only married a man that she did not love but had to go through the pain that her only friend, Helen had left her in a place that hail nothing to her but awful memories. Moll also had traveled far in order to find her 11 year old boy, Davy whom had joined ,and been purchased by Helen’s former soldier husband, John, she never found him. Moll felt betrayed and biased by the fact that she couldn’t make any choices for her self without approval from her owner, Helen’s father Asa. Moll was given to Helen for her tenth birthday and by that time, Moll had an attitude of judging a person too quickly. Advice I would give her is to simply get over whats bothering you because whether you’re hurt or made fun of, you’ll always be you, nothing will change because if others don’t want to know how much they had hurt you, maybe that’s because they don’t care.

  8. If I was the best friend of Katniss Everdeen in the book “the hunger games: mocking jay” I would advice Katniss to be the mocking jay for district 13. One reason why I would recommend her to make this decision is the other districts already know her and see her as a sign of hope from her past actions. Also she already has the attention of Snow as she has already testified against the Capitol.
For example she forced them to change the rules to where her and Petta can win the games. Another example is her escape from the quarter quell arena where she was the one that broke the roof using her bow.
Finally I recommend Katniss to be the mocking jay for district 13 because this gives her a large spot to get revenge on the Capitol for destroying district 12.

  9. In my book ” new kid” if I was Brock’s best friend I think the best advice I can give him is to not hang out with Nagel.
One reason I would recommend this to Brock is because Nagel is in every way a bad influence, for example when Nagel found a pack of beers that belongs to Brock’s dad he suggested they drink it.
Another reason that Nagel is a bad influence is when Nagel told Brock that they should go break coach’s window for ripping their shirt.
Finally I think Brock should be close to Nagel is because he has only hurt Brock.
An example of this is on the first day of school where Nagel bothered Brock and caused them to fight, after this Brock ended up with a broken nose.
Also Nagel’s brother ended up punching him and almost beating him up.
So i really think it is not a very good desision for Brock to keep trying to be friends with Nagel because it might get worse for Brock.

  10. Bombing Nazi Germany” by Wayne Vansant is a book about the United States going to war during WW2 fighting Germany with airplanes dropping bombs trying to destroy many of the ammunition companies they create. They did this because they wanted to end the War wanting to beat Germany to win for the second time.If I were Hitlers friend I would persuade him to not do what he did which was to mistreat the Jews like if they were animals or aliens. This is important because he is showing other kids that believe in him how to treat other people or how to separate normal people to not normal people.

    • That I agree with Chris, if I was close to Hitler I would’ve at least tried to get him to do other wise, because what if it was you. To think that if someone had just reasoned with Hitler before all this madness had happened maybe it didn’t have to happen at all. The people closest to you are the people you listen to most so if I was anywhere near Hitler and I need his plans I would’ve yelled at him every second I got for him not to do it.

the targets are down so they would not cause any more chaos and end the war.If I were the United States friend general I would convince him to create a peace treaty with Germany so maybe the war would be over.

  12. In the book “The worst/best School year Ever “I’m thinking bringing a character into a story whether it’s been from the start or not this book the main character’s name still seems to be left out from main context of the book . You probably need to look very closely not to miss the name.Any way it feels like bringing around another character to the story would be no difference but I would try to help them by telling them to……… Move far far far away .Why because the only other main characters are snot nosed braits that listen to nothing.THEY LIVE of the dispare and suffering of others I know this just by reading The back cover. Also by reading all the stunts they pulled along the books end so my advice is too stay away from the herdmans ,Beth if that’s your name.
